Mental Health Awareness 2022
The event focuses on providing ACB community members and the broader community with the opportunity to talk about mental health issues openly and safely with mental health professionals. By creating a safe space for ACB people and folks from different ethnic backgrounds to connect with experts in the field, we strive to empower people by granting them access to tools and resources that allow them to seek help but know how to (a)ccess help.

Black History Month 2022
On Friday, February 25th, 2022, the Afro Caribbean Mentorship Program (ACMP) sponsored by the Royal Bank of Canada, hosted its fourth annual, one-day (online) Black History Month event. We humbly celebrate our diverse Afro-Caribbean Black Canadian communities like previous events. Our intent is to continue to pay homage to the great accomplishments of Afro-Caribbean Black (ACB) people throughout history leading to our present times.

Women’s Empowerment 2022
In our attempt to continue to support and empower Black Canadian women, the Afro Caribbean Mentorship Program (ACMP) sponsored by the Royal Bank of Canada, hosted an online event during Women’s History Month in March 2022. This event celebrates ACB Women’s Empowerment on the themes of Healing, Empowerment & Growth. The ACMP will host ONE online event focused on the personal, academic, physical, and mental advancement of ACB women, while critically engaging on the concept of Blackness in Canadian society.

Economic Empowerment 2022
On Monday, May 30th, 2022 and Tuesday, May 31st, 2022, the Afro-Caribbean Mentorship Program (ACMP) hosted its Economic Empowerment Conference ONLINE in partnership with the Royal Bank of Canada. These two events provided valuable information to Black students and the community.
