For our next Barbershop Talk Series, join Dr. Tamari Kitosa (Author-Editor of Appealing Because He is Appalling: Black Masculinities, Colonialism, and Erotic Racism) and Dr. Charles Simon-Aaron (Author of The Atlantic Slave Trade: Empire, Enlightenment, and the Cult of the Unthinking Negro) as we critically think about ways we can dispel the normalization of the absent Black father in our community.
